About School
Having had their lives rooted in the concern for the framers, the icon of rural India Late Ch. Devi Lal Ji, his wife Late Mata Harki Devi and their family dedicated their lives for the upliftment of the rural India in general and Haryana in particular. Appreciating that education is the most important tool for the transformation of rural India into modern India; they heavily and earnestly organized the resources of mass education of rural Haryana, beginning with Sirsa and around.
With the aim to provide quality education, Mata Harki Devi Education Society (Regd. No. 00111) Odhan was founded in 2002. The society runs Mata Harki Devi College for Women, Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women and Mata Harki Devi Senior Secondary School. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The NOC No is SS-11/SRS-11/CBSE/ENG and the date of issuing NOC is 20 Nov 2007.The intent is to develop a scalable and sustainable education model that can be replicated on a large scale by thee government, educational institutions and like minded organizations.

Admission Details
Registrations & Admissions
Admissions for new session from class Nursery to IX & XI with be notified in advance. Admission to the classes 1st to IX & XI will be based on the performance in the admission test. However admission to Nursery to UKG classes will be directly on first-come-first served basis, without any interview or test. These are the guidelines about the age group ( as on 31 March) for a particular class.
Preceding entry to the class
Entering NUR - 2 yrs 6 months to 3 yrs.
Entering L.K.G - 3 yrs 6 months to 4 yrs.
Entering U.K.G - 4 yrs 6 months to 5 yrs.
Entering Class 1 - 5 yrs onwards
Entering Class 2 - 6 yrs onwards
Entering Class 3 - 7 yrs onwards
Entering Class 4 - 8 yrs onwards
Entering Class 5 - 9 yrs onwards
Entering Class 6 - 10 yrs onwards

The date, time and place for the admission test will be notified to the registered students by the school well in advance.
