Lalji Mehrotra Lions School (LML School) is a co-educational, English medium day school which aims to provide all-round education to students through an innovative and enjoyable curriculum by giving individual attention to each child. Situated on a 20 acre, beautiful and serene campus in Ognaj, (3.5 Kms from Gota circle on Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, Ahmedabad), the lush, green surroundings of the school offer a noise and pollution free, natural learning environment. The school uses state of the art facilities to make learning more interactive and fun and has all modern provisions and infrastructure to facilitate quality education.
LML School follows the ideology of providing individual attention to each child and with this in view class sizes are limited to 20 students in Pre-primary and 26 students class 1 onwards. This facilitates effective learning, assessment and feedback. The school plays mentor, facilitator, motivator and guide for the students rather than just giving instructional inputs. Innovative methods, effective teaching aids and activities that cater to the needs of each student are built into the lesson plan to make the learning process a fruitful one. Our continuous and stress free assessment process ensures that the students have understood the concepts. Remedial classes are provided to those who work at a slower pace than the others.
Admission Details
The school welcomes parents and students who wish to visit the school. Parents can also meet the Principal and teachers on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 10.00 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.
Admission to any class is granted on the basis of “First come First Serve”
- All formalities and admission procedures should be completed by the parents in person.
- Admission will be granted only on the receipt of the first term fees.
- Admission forms are available at the school office on all working days (Monday to Friday) and 2nd and 4th Saturday between 8.00 am and 12 noon.
- Completed Admission forms should be submitted with the following documents from Monday to Friday and second & Fourth Saturday between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon
1. Birth Certificate – original and a Xerox copy.
2. 6 passport size photographs of the child.
3. 1 postcard size family photograph.
4. Original School Leaving Certificate.
5. Last Report Card
6. Medical Form duly filled and signed
Criteria
Admission to classes Jr .Kg. to IV is on the basis of age.Students seeking admission in these classes should fulfill the norms as prescribed in the school brochure.
25% seats are available for Students under Right to Education Act for class 1.
